Council is seeking Tenders from experienced café operators to lease and operate the café located in Ipswich’s 22ha inner city parkland (11 Merle Finimore Avenue, Queens Park). Tender proposals received from applicants will be assessed on the basis that the operator who best meets Council’s selection criteria will be invited to enter into a lease for the café.
The successful operator will be required to operate and maintain the Queens Park Café at a suitable and acceptable level to Council (as the Trustee). In addition, it is envisaged that the operator will provide the Ipswich community with a positive experience which in turn will assist in promoting and developing both the facility and the parkland.
The successful operator(s) will be offered a Trustee Lease to operate the facility for a period of 5 years. In this case, no extension options are available.
