Gladstone Regional Council (GRC) owns, maintains and operates 21 drinking water reservoirs for customers in the Gladstone water supply distribution area. Suitably qualified contractors are required to undertake rectification works at three of these reservoirs, namely:

  • Radar Hill Reservoir - located at 249 Goondoon St, South Gladstone QLD 4680;
  • Ferris Hill Reservoir - located at 23 Walsh Street, South Gladstone QLD 4680; and
  • Mount Larcom Reservoir - located at 53477 Bruce Highway, Mount Larcom.

The works are separated into Work Package 1 and 2. Work Package 1 is for the Radar Hill and Ferris Hill Reservoirs. Work Package 2 is for the Mount Larcom Reservoirs.

The purpose of the works is to increase the operational life of the reservoirs, increase safety and to provide reservoirs with similar designs to others in the Lake Awoonga scheme.
