Description

Due to damage that resulted from flooding events in January 2019, Douglas Shire Council (“the Principal”)
requires restoration works to be undertaken to rehabilitate / reconstruct essential infrastructure (‘the Project’).

The project involves stabilisation of a slipped section of roadside cutting on Upper Daintree Road, Daintree
north of Mossman. The slope instabilities occurred on the north side of Upper Daintree Road.

The Principal has carried out interim works, consisting of debris removal, superficial slope re-
profiling/smoothening and minor improvements of surface water drainage measures.

The Principal seeks the services of a construction service entity with the prerequisite skills, resources,
capabilities and experience in slope stabilisation works to deliver the required repair to the failed slope.
