This contract focuses on supply, print, install, dismantle and maintenance of Banners throughout the city. The Principal have introduced the Banner Booking Policy to govern the process.
The Banner Booking Policy was originally put into place for the delivery of the 2018 Commonwealth Games Banners across the city. A pilot booking system was developed and implemented to provide a centralised approach of managing banner bookings for poles on roads, malls, parks and footpaths. The original policy only included City owned poles for use for and not limited to City business areas, Major Events Gold Coast, local divisional initiatives, Charities, Not For Profits and Corporate Communication campaigns.
Procedures have been streamlined within the last two years and the Banner Booking Policy has been revised. The revised policy finalised at the end of 2020, now enables commercial businesses and event companies, that meet the selection criteria, to hire the Principal owned poles for banner installation along with the original organisations in the former policy.
