The Isaac Regional Council has an approved budget within 18/19 Capital Works program for the construction of Council owned/share water points through the rural areas as per strategic plan to provide close sources of reliable water for road maintenance operations, such as grading and gravel resheeting.
This program is designed to create a network of water points throughout the Region that reduces Council’s reliance on Landowners and Department of Natural Resources Mines and Energy ‘controlled’ natural sources (rivers, creeks, springs) for water.
Isaac Regional Council is calling for quotations for the construction of three separate 20 mega-litre water storage dams.
