Tenders are invited for the construction of the Emerald Airport GA Upgrade.
The works involve pavement remediation/reconstruction of the existing pavement (Stage 1 – GA Parking and Refuelling Area), parking area (Stage 2 – Code A Parking and Taxiway) and taxiway B (Stage 3 – Taxiway B Widening), construction of new stormwater drainage and installation of aeronautical ground lighting. Works will also include the demolition and removal of an existing stormwater pit, lighting duct system, water main, trees, and existing pavement. The project is to be tendered as three (3) separable portions with the progress of portions B and C dependant on the availability of funding.
