Isaac Regional Council (IRC), in its own right and on behalf of Isaac Regional Council and Central Highlands Regional Council (CHRC), is inviting tender submissions for waste and recycling collection services.
The two (2) Councils have agreed to simultaneously procure service providers to achieve the objectives listed in this brief.
The Request for Tender (RFT) process is being undertaken with the interim approval of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC) with each Council committing to undertake its own assessment of Submissions against an agreed common evaluation plan and criteria.
Final approval of this procurement process by the ACCC is condition precedent to the award of any contract.
For clarity there is no restriction on each Council resolving to accept a tender Submission independently of the other Council’s decision, nor is there any restriction on each Council resolving to accept a Submission for both Councils, as a deliberate initiative to provide savings.
An Information Session to summarise the Request for Tender has been convened for Friday 15 February 2019 in Moranbah. In accordance with the Conditions of Tender, prior notice of attendance is required.
